Professional Boiler Installation, Repair & Maintenance Services

Had been going back and forth with Steve since April to set up a garage heater, but I kept getting pulled away. Steve was understanding and kept in touch to make sure we could find a time that worked for both of us. When my schedule finally opened up in September/October, Steve picked up right where we left off—no need for another visit or back-and-forth. A couple of after-hours messages and we had everything scheduled.

His booking platform was simple to use and clearly itemized the work and materials being provided.

When installation day came, Steve and Henry arrived on time and were very professional. They took the time to answer my questions, explain the process, and complete the job efficiently. A small change came up during installation, but Steve handled it seamlessly and made sure I was happy with the options.

The work was finished within the promised timeline, and just as others have mentioned, the inspection passed with no issues. The installation looks great, and I’m looking forward to a warm garage this winter.

Thanks, Steve and Henry

Steve and his guy Henry are outstanding. Very high quality work, super personable, and committed to your satisfaction. Will definitely use these guys for all my future plumbing needs. You'll be happy you chose them.

Hired to replace 2 faucets. Quick and excellent service. Would recommend!

Steve from Prodigy Mechanical replaced a hot water tank for me and did an awesome job. The work was done fast, and he left everything clean and tidy.

Steve at Prodigy took care of a challenging job in our older condo and his prices were very reasonable. He's detail-oriented and truly expert. Highly recommend

Steve did an excellent job installing the heater in my garage. He took the time to explain the process beforehand and was attentive to my concerns and questions. He's polite and pleasant to work with and genuinely made sure I was happy with the finished project. Henry worked with him and was just as polite and efficient. Prodigy Mechanical gets the job done top notch.

Over the last year, we've used Prodigy on 3 different residential projects. We could not more happy with Steve's professionalism and competitive pricing. He is prompt with his service and has excellent communication. Most recently his team replaced our hot water tank, which we had some problems with. Steve went the extra mile to ensure we were happy - and rectified the problem quickly. Highly recommend = 10/10

I had Steve from Prodigy Mechanical for My kitchen remodeling and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. From start to finish, Steve was incredibly professional, punctual, and easy to work with. He took the time to explain each step of the process, made sure everything was up to code, and kept the workspace clean and organized.

What really stood out was the quality of his workmanship—everything was done with precision and care. It’s clear he takes pride in what he does. The upgrades look fantastic, and everything functions perfectly( that’s why I waited for a few months before I give this five star review, lol) I highly recommend Steve and Prodigy Mechanical to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality plumbing services.

Steve was attentive, thorough, and involved me in decision making. The work was completed on time and on budget!

Top notch service. Great communication and good pricing. They were able to come diagnose my water heater on the weekend and had it replaced the next day. Thanks Steve

My old hot water blew a hole and the plumbers from Prodigy Mechanical were able to replace it in a timely manner. They were professional and made sure that everything was connected properly:) I would highly recommend them!

I've used this company 3 times since purchasing my family home. Very informative and excellent communication of his knowledge around the scope of work being requested. Will continue to use them as we make this house a home!!

They quickly diagnosed and fixed my plumbing issues. They also made sure to clean up after the job, which I really appreciated. Overall, excellent service I’d definitely recommend them to family and friends.

Prodigy Mechanicals’ exceptional attention to detail and organization set them apart from the competition. Their extensive knowledge and experience have made my service experience truly outstanding

They were great, got us in early because of some other work that finished ahead of schedule. Very efficient and personable. Very happy with the work

Excellent service and response time. Highly skilled and knowledgeable-- we've booked future work with him already. Highly recommend Steve and Henry!!!

Called Steve, explained my plumbing issue, send a few pic's and he knew what the problem was. He came to my place the next morning, had picked up the part and had it fixed in 15 minutes. Good guy, great service reasonable rates, I will use him again.

I had an amazing experience with Steven and his team! From the moment he called, they were professional, courteous, and responded promptly. The plumber arrived on time, was incredibly knowledgeable, and quickly diagnosed the issue with my toilet. Not only did they fix the problem efficiently, but they also took the time to explain everything in detail and gave me some helpful maintenance tips. The price was fair, and the service exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend for anyone needing reliable and top-notch plumbing services. Will definitely be calling them for any future plumbing needs!

Great experience! Steve was wonderful, very communicative, and did a great job with removing my garburator. He explained the process and showed me all the checks he did. He was very kind and the price was very reasonable. Would highly highly recommend Steve (and Prodigy) for any plumbing/mechanical needs!

Steven is the best price in town when it comes to replacing our tankless water heater. We had four quotes and his was one of the lower ones. Not only that, even though he was fully booked up, he was able to fit us into the schedule as he knew we were without hot water for almost a week. His response time was prompt when we inquired the quote. I would definitely refer him to my friends and family.

As the owner of a property management company, I rely heavily on trusted professionals, and Prodigy Mechanical has been my go-to plumbing service for all of my properties. Steve is not only reliable but also incredibly reasonable with his pricing. He always shows up on time, gets the job done efficiently, and provides honest, expert advice. I can count on him for everything from routine maintenance to emergency repairs. I highly recommend Prodigy Mechanical for any plumbing needs—Steve is truly a standout in the industry!

The team at Prodigy Mechanical were a huge help for a gas fitting project I had. On time, great price, and very professional. I would highly recommend them.

It’s such a great thing to find someone who does good work, and shows up when they say they will.
After getting jerked around for two days by a plumber who kept saying he was going to show up, luckily I saw previous good reviews for Prodigy.
I called and asked when someone could uninstall my old dishwasher and install my new one, as well as hook up the water filtration to my fridge.
The very next day, Steve showed up and did a fantastic job for me, at a great price.
I’ll be keeping his contact info handy!

These guys are amazing. They came to my house when I had no heat. Turns out my zone valves were no longer working and they explained the issue to me and replaced them fast and efficiently. While they were there I had them change out my kitchen faucet and install some pressure assisted toilets for me throughout my house. After they finished their work they cleaned up. Service was great and cost was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend and use them again!

Steve of Prodigy Mechanical replaced our seized main water shut off valve at very reasonable cost.

He was very open and accurate in discussing the details of the work beforehand and even arrived early for the job. As a result he was fully prepared for a quick install when the utility arrived to turn off their service valve and all continued smoothly from there resulting in only a very brief water outage to our home.

Installation of the valve was done precisely using very high quality gauranteed components for which he will also offer price verification as he does not mark up from wholesale.

Great job Steve!

I wanted a warm garage to work in this winter and i was recommended by a friend to call Steve and i was able to book it as soon as possible and got it done in just 2 days. Highly recommend 5 star service.

It's always stressful when you need to find someone in the trades to help with repairs. The anxiety of potentially getting taken advantage of just because you don't have expertise in that area. And the potential for all of the hidden costs or surprise repairs that magically come up. Steve was so easy to deal with over the phone. He was available right away and fixed the problem within an hour of me calling him. He gave me a very reasonable flat rate charge to unclog a drain. When he got there, there was a minor leak under the sink which he sent pictures to me (as it was a rental and I wasn't around). I asked how much to just replace the part. He was very transparent, didn't try to overcharge or find other hidden repairs that were needed, and was very reasonable on the pricing. I asked him to send me a picture of the repair when complete which he did right after it was complete. I will call Steve for all of my future plumbing needs so I hope he never changes the way he runs his business.

I recently came across this company, and I have to say they are incredibly professional. Their work is both efficient and high-quality, and they genuinely look out for their customers by helping them save money. I’d highly recommend them to anyone looking for a certified professional plumber in Calgary. You won’t regret it.

Communication was quick and easy, appointment was timely, service was prompt and efficient. Steve went above what was required to make things right on our retrofit, and the cost was extremely fair. I am very happy with this service, and will call again for future work!

Steve was very nice and certainly knowledgeable! He was on time and cleaned up everything when he left. He did an awesome job for me and I would recommend him!

We had a water line installed for our new fridge. Great experience and fast service, we needed a follow up and it was done free of charge. His quote was also very competitive. Happy and relieved to have found Steve.

I had a clogged bathroom drain. I found Prodigy Mechanical on Homestars. Steve promptly responded to my inquiry and was able to fit me into his tight schedule. On arrival for the repair, Steve was patient to explain the possible reasons for the clogging. He was able to get the drain flowing again and had very fair pricing. I will surely call Steve for my future plumbing needs.

I had Steve handle my Poly B replacement, and they exceeded my expectations. The team worked like a well-oiled machine—fast, precise, and respectful of my space. It felt like they treated my home as if it were their own. I’d recommend them without hesitation.

Excellent service and cost. Quality workmanship, friendly service. Clear explanation of the workings of the tankless water heater. Gave us some general knowledge pointers on other products. We will definitely use the company again!

Steve was really responsive, he came out to help us with our tankless water heater late in the evening. He was knowledgeable, professional and we will definitely use his services again.

Wow, this is service. I asked Steve to instal a bidet toilet seat. This should have been a straightforward job, but the design of the toilet made it impossible to connect. After over an hour of trying, he had to take everything apart and put back the original seat. Steve refused ANY payment. He said: he had not completed the job, so he would refuse any payment.
We managed to find what we thought would be a solution and we booked a return visit. He came back, the solution worked, the work was done. He even substituted better assembly parts as those provided in the kit were made of plastic. Now he took payment, the same amount we had agreed on at the outset.
Steve went above and beyond. I have found it rare to see this level of integrity.
Who will I call for every job from now on? Steve. Who will I recommend to all my friends? Steve.
Do not hesitate to use him.

My Aunt Jessi doesn’t have a Google account but wanted to leave a review for Steve as his service was amazing! She will definitely be a returning customer.

Steve is someone who really takes his work seriously and definately cares about his customers, he is very professional. I had a few things that needed to be done around my house and it was done in a timely manner. Thank you for being punctual and getting the job done. Definately will recommend you.

Steve was very attentive and communicating when he was coming, He got delayed a little bit, but he finally arrived and explained to me everything, he installed the part super fast and stayed to make sure everything and it was on point. He guarantees his job and insisted that if anything was wrong I could call him back, with reassures me that. He just left and I cannot hear my laundry. before I was a big thunder. I am very thankful!

The old school service you want, but from a modern company. Great experience, fair pricing, honesty and transparency. I will always choose an owner operated company over a corporation for these reasons. You can tell Steve cares about his business and reputation, these are the type of tradespeople who should be getting the business.

These guys are amazing so friendly and even made the time to help out a single mom 🙂 I highly recommend you will not be disappointed! Thanx so much guys will definitely call you again if needed

Steve went over and behond and made the time to explain the problem if i needed to do it myself but still made the time to fit me in 🙂 thank you so much

Steve was excellent in his communication. He replaced our old dishwasher with a new one. He was punctual and really good at his work .

I recently had the pleasure of working with Steve Tran (Prodigy) for a plumbing project, and I couldn't be more impressed. Steve was incredibly punctual and did an excellent job from start to finish. What really set him apart was how he went above and beyond by coordinating with other trades at the last minute, ensuring that my project was completed on time. He was also extremely helpful in providing information and respected my budget, offering cost-effective options without compromising on quality. I highly recommend Prodigy & Steve for any plumbing needs—he's awesome!
