Complete Rough-In Plumbing for Calgary Homes

Had been going back and forth with Steve since April to set up a garage heater, but I kept getting pulled away. Steve was understanding and kept in touch to make sure we could find a time that worked for both of us. When my schedule finally opened up in September/October, Steve picked up right where we left off—no need for another visit or back-and-forth. A couple of after-hours messages and we had everything scheduled.

His booking platform was simple to use and clearly itemized the work and materials being provided.

When installation day came, Steve and Henry arrived on time and were very professional. They took the time to answer my questions, explain the process, and complete the job efficiently. A small change came up during installation, but Steve handled it seamlessly and made sure I was happy with the options.

The work was finished within the promised timeline, and just as others have mentioned, the inspection passed with no issues. The installation looks great, and I’m looking forward to a warm garage this winter.

Steven is the best price in town when it comes to replacing our tankless water heater. We had four quotes and his was one of the lower ones. It’s such a great thing to find someone who does good work, and shows up when they say they will.
After getting jerked around for two days by a plumber who kept saying he was going to show up, luckily I saw previous good reviews for Prodigy.
I called and asked when someone could uninstall my old dishwasher and install my new one, as well as hook up the water filtration to my fridge.
The very next day, Steve showed up and did a fantastic job for me, at a great price.

These guys are amazing. They came to my house when I had no heat. Turns out my zone valves were no longer working and they explained the issue to me and replaced them fast and efficiently. While they were there I had them change out my kitchen faucet and install some pressure assisted toilets for me throughout my house. After they finished their work they cleaned up. Service was great and cost was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend and use them again!

Steve of Prodigy Mechanical replaced our seized main water shut off valve at very reasonable cost.

He was very open and accurate in discussing the details of the work beforehand and even arrived early for the job. As a result he was fully prepared for a quick install when the utility arrived to turn off their service valve and all continued smoothly from there resulting in only a very brief water outage to our home.

Installation of the valve was done precisely using very high quality gauranteed components for which he will also offer price verification as he does not mark up from wholesale.

I wanted a warm garage to work in this winter and i was recommended by a friend to call Steve and i was able to book it as soon as possible and got it done in just 2 days. Highly recommend 5 star service.

It's always stressful when you need to find someone in the trades to help with repairs. The anxiety of potentially getting taken advantage of just because you don't have expertise in that area. And the potential for all of the hidden costs or surprise repairs that magically come up. Steve was so easy to deal with over the phone. He was available right away and fixed the problem within an hour of me calling him. He gave me a very reasonable flat rate charge to unclog a drain. When he got there, there was a minor leak under the sink which he sent pictures to me (as it was a rental and I wasn't around). I asked how much to just replace the part. He was very transparent, didn't try to overcharge or find other hidden repairs that were needed, and was very reasonable on the pricing. I asked him to send me a picture of the repair when complete which he did right after it was complete. I will call Steve for all of my future plumbing needs so I hope he never changes the way he runs his business.

Wow, this is service. I asked Steve to instal a bidet toilet seat. This should have been a straightforward job, but the design of the toilet made it impossible to connect. After over an hour of trying, he had to take everything apart and put back the original seat. Steve refused ANY payment. He said: he had not completed the job, so he would refuse any payment.
We managed to find what we thought would be a solution and we booked a return visit. He came back, the solution worked, the work was done. He even substituted better assembly parts as those provided in the kit were made of plastic. Now he took payment, the same amount we had agreed on at the outset.
Steve went above and beyond. I have found it rare to see this level of integrity.
